CREATE A FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER
Facebook Fundraisers are a fast and simple way to expand your fundraising through your Facebook page. Log in to your event fundraising portal and select “create a Facebook Fundraiser” to get started! Earn 25 extra miles!
Don’t be afraid to ask everyone to support you! What about your co-workers? Your relatives? Your neighbors? See Fundraising in 7 Days for more ideas.
You may be surprised at the support you’ll receive from a Facebook post, tweet or Instagram photo or story. Share your personal fundraising page or download a fundraising bib, personalize it and share on social media. Make sure you use the hashtag #ParkwayRun.

Remember to thank ALL of your donors, because without them, CHOP would not be the hospital it is today. Tag your donors on social media and recognize them publicly for helping you and your team.

Give your supporters a shout out with a tag or @mention! This can encourage others to donate while also showing your appreciation. You can also thank people through direct messages.

Looking for a new way to fundraise? Try engaging your followers using the Parkway Run & Walk Donation Board! Post the image on your Facebook or Instagram and update as you go by marking an X on the spaces that have been donated. You can even tag who donated in that spot!
This gives you a great way to recognize your followers for their donation, get others donating and allows your donors to repost their donation! Make sure to include your customized fundraising link or tag your Facebook Fundraiser so people can make their donation.
Show your support for kids with cancer and encourage others to get active with a Facebook frame. Add the frame to your profile picture by searching for “Parkway Run Virtual Edition” or use this link to add the frame to a new photo or video on your Facebook page.
